Are the bodies at BODY WORLDS real? Yes, they really are! Every exhibited body has been preserved using plastination, a technique invented in 1977 by Dr. Gunther von Hagens to make bodies durable for medical science, anatomy, and pathology studies. 🫀 All bodies on display come from the Body Donation Program, where donors from around the world allow their bodies to be used for medical education, science, and public anatomy exhibitions.
