Over four decades after the 1984 Winter Olympics, Sarajevo is contending with what to do with its Olympic venues. Many are abandoned and crumbling.
Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the giant slalom, Elvedina Muzaferija and Esma Alić, finished in 32nd and 51st place respectively at the Winter Olympic Games. The gold medal was won by Federica Brignone and in the end she celebrated with a time of 2:13.
